In reading this scripture, the song "This is my Father's World" popped into my mind...especially the 3rd verse "This is my Father's world. O let me ne'er forget that though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the ruler yet. This is my Father's world: why should my heart be sad? The Lord is King; let the heavens ring! God reigns; let the earth be glad! I know in my heart God reigns, so why is it so hard to follow God's directions? Sometimes I let my emotions jump onto the elevator, and then head straight to the basement...then, and only then, do I start listening to what he is saying.
