God doesn't want me to spend my life on the grasshopper-end spectrum of life...only seeing things right in front of me and never seeing things beyond that blade of grass. He teaches me by his own actions of loving, caring, healing, energizing, forgiving, dying. I think soaring on Eagle's wings has been God's purpose for me all along. With every trial I go through, I grow another feather giving me the strength to fly higher over mountains and faster through the valleys.
Thank you, Rev. Beth, for Eagles 101. I had a WOW moment finally listening and understanding that with God, I can "soar" through the "stuff" in my life. What a restful thought to know that I no longer have to "flap" my wings to fly. I think I have got it!
